Smoked Almonds
Smoked Almonds

Ingredients
1 pound almonds
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili pepper
Directions
Pre heat your smoker to 225 ° F. While the smoker is pre-heating mix the melted butter with the salt, garlic powder and chili pepper. Add the Almonds and stir. Make sure the almonds are evenly covered. Divided the nuts evenly among 2 9×11 aluminum pans. Add to the smoker and smoke for 2 hours. Adding wood chips every 45 minutes. Use the wood chips of your choice when smoking. I like using Beech. Beech and Pecan are two of my favorites. Make sure vent is 3/4 open. After 2 hours remove the Almonds. Cool and enjoy !
